Barry Ferguson: 'Blackpool deserved three points'

Blackpool boss Barry Ferguson believes that his side deserved to beat Ipswich Town on Saturday.

Blackpool interim boss Barry Ferguson believes that his side dropped two points after drawing 0-0 with Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Saturday.

After weathering early pressure, Blackpool did go close to a scoring through Faris Haroun on several occasions, and despite surviving a second-half penalty shout to pick up a draw, Ferguson insists his attacking approach warranted victory.

He told reporters: "We went on the attack to get the three points, which I think we deserved. So I'd say it's two points dropped."

Blackpool are now 16th in the Championship.
