A Jordan Rhodes strike has sent Blackburn Rovers into half time leading against Huddersfield Town at Ewood Park.
The opening 20 minutes were played at a fast pace, with the home side doing most of the early running.
However, as much as they pushed forward, they were unable to create anything clear-cut in front of goal.
It was the predatory instincts of Jordan Rhodes that eventually gave Rovers the lead.
David Jones sent a corner deep into the box, which was headed back across goal by Scott Dann for the Scottish international to hook into the net from close range.
That was the last goalmouth action of the first 45 minutes as the hosts took their lead into the break.
