Report: Birmingham City reject Demarai Gray bid from Bournemouth

Bournemouth reportedly have a bid in the region of £1.5m rejected by Birmingham City for 18-year-old winger Demarai Gray.

Bournemouth have had a £1.5m bid for winger Demarai Gray rejected by Birmingham City, according to a report.

Eddie Howe's men are currently top of the Championship and were looking to add the 18-year-old to bolster their promotion push in the second half of the campaign.

However, the Blues have spurned the offer as they are determined to keep one of their prized assets at the club and are ready to offer Gray a new contract to remain at St Andrew's, reports Sky Sports News.

Gray has scored four goals in 20 appearances for Gary Rowett's men this season.
