Manager Lee Clark reveals that he will not be rushed into adding to his Birmingham City squad.

Manager Lee Clark has revealed that he will not be rushed into signing new players for Birmingham City.

Clark has already brought in four new players to his squad, but he has insisted that he is prepared to play a waiting game in the hunt for further signings.

Clark told the Birmingham Mail: "We want one, hopefully two, players before the season starts, but it's about being patient. You can easily dive in and get the wrong player.

"I know the people behind the scenes are working extremely hard to make the deals we are trying to conclude happen."

Birmingham are now able to sign new players after being placed under a transfer embargo for the second half of last season.
