Juventus prefer Xherdan Shaqiri over Wesley Sneijder?

Juventus are reportedly being offered Wesley Sneijder by Galatasaray, but the Serie A champions allegedly prefer Bayern Munich's Xherdan Shaqiri.

Juventus have reportedly been offered the services of former Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder, but the Serie A champions are allegedly waiting for Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri to become available.

Both players are being linked with moves away from their respective clubs, with rumours suggesting that Sneijder wants to leave Galatasaray after having several payment issues since moving to the club in early 2013.

Shaqiri is reportedly in talks with Bayern over a potential new deal but it is believed that the former Basel winger is seeking a more prominent role in the squad.

Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri believes that the club are being priced out of a move for Sneijder and will be looking for other options.

"I would like to have a €15m villa but, if I can't afford it, I have to look for an apartment that I like. Sneijder? In reality he is a villa but with a particular situation," the 47-year-old said, according to Goal.com.

"The club's objective is to raise the technical level of Juventus."

Shaqiri is expected to leave the Bundesliga champions in either January or the summer, with both Inter and Liverpool believed to be interested.
