Franck Ribery returns to Bayern Munich training

Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery recovers from a back injury to take part in pre-season training for the first time.

Franck Ribery has started pre-season training with his Bayern Munich teammates.

It was not known when the French winger would return to the sessions due to a back injury that ruled him out of the World Cup.

However, his presence at the club's training base today has suggested that he could be fit for Bayern's first competitive fixture of the new season, which is a DFB-Pokal tie against Preussen Munster on August 17.

The 31-year-old scored 16 goals in all competitions for the German champions last term.ID:165241: cacheID:165241:1false2false3false:QQ:: from db desktop :LenBod:restore:1445:
