Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery has said that he deserves to win the Ballon d'Or this year.
The France international is regarded as one of the favourites for the award along with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Under the fireplace in the living room. My wife has already prepared a place for it to go, everything," he told L'Equipe. "I try not to think about it, but she is thinking about it a lot. At Bayern everyone believes that I will win.
"[If I am favourite] then it is for the what I have done in the field, what I have done to return to my best, to be professional every day and for the trophies that I have won.
"Before this year I was very good. Now I am the best."
Ribery was recently named the Best Player in Europe by UEFA for helping his team to success in the Champions League last season.
