Half-Time Report: Olympiacos hold Bayern Munich at break

Bayern Munich find themselves frustrated by a stubborn Olympiacos side as the two teams go in goalless at half time in the Champions League.

Bayern Munich find themselves frustrated by a stubborn Olympiacos side as the two teams go in goalless at half time in the Champions League this evening.

Brown Ideye had a great chance to open the scoring for the Greek side, but his free header could only find the hands of Manuel Neuer.

Robert Lewandowski also came close with a header as Olympiacos looked to make their mark on Munich, Pajtim Kasami, Esteban Cambiasso and Omar Elabdellaoui all picking up yellow cards.

Douglas Costa had a slight chance on goal before Lewandowski was smartly saved by the legs of Roberto Jimenez Gago.

The German champions could not make the breakthrough before half time, however, as the hosts held out until the interval.
