Netherlands legend Edgar Davids makes a shock move to League Two club Barnet.

Edgar Davids has made a surprise move to League Two side Barnet as player-coach.

The former Dutch international will serve as joint-head coach with Mark Robson, the London club announced via Twitter.

"Dutch legend, former Barcelona, Juventus, Ajax and AC Milan midfielder Edgar Davids joins Barnet and becomes joint head coach with Mark Robson," the club wrote.

Davids completed two stints as a player in English football, first with Tottenham Hotspur and later with Crystal Palace.

Barnet currently sit at the foot of League Two and have yet to win a game this season, with their three points all coming from draws.
