Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez has affirmed that he wants to stay at San Siro despite frequent links with Barcelona.
The Argentina international was regarded as the Blaugrana's top target last summer after Luis Suarez's exit, but a move to Catalonia failed to materialise and he continues to ply his trade at Inter.
Speculation over Martinez's future has cooled with Barca supposedly turning their attention to Lyon's Memphis Depay instead, and the Inter man hopes to pen a new deal with Antonio Conte's side soon.
Speaking to Sportweek, Martinez said: "I am happy at Inter, Milan is a great city. My agent and the club are talking and I am calm. I only want to give everything for Inter, then we'll reach an agreement."
The 23-year-old has already scored 10 goals and assisted five more in all competitions during the 2020-21 campaign, and his current contract with Inter is due to expire in the summer of 2023.
The Nerazzurri currently sit three points adrift of Serie A table-toppers and fierce rivals AC Milan before Sunday's highly-anticipated battle with Juventus.
