Sergio Busquets has reportedly decided to leave Barcelona after the conclusion of the current campaign following a 15-year spell in the club's first team.
The 34-year-old made his debut for the Catalan outfit in August 2008 and has gone on to play over 700 games for the club, helping his side to eight La Liga titles and three Champions League successes.
Once again Busquets has been a regular fixture in the Barca side this term, starting 25 La Liga matches as Xavi's men look set to win their first league crown since the 2018-19 season.
According to The Sun, Busquets has decided to leave the Camp Nou outfit this summer and has already informed the club's hierarchy of his desire for a move away.
The report adds that Saudi Arabia is currently the number-one option for the midfielder in terms of his next destination, although the player is yet to agree to join any team in the Middle East.
It is believed that Busquets is wary of staying at Barca past his prime, despite head coach Xavi wanting his captain to remain in Spain.
