Barcelona have once again reiterated that Celta Vigo attacker Nolito is a player that they are monitoring with a view to a January move.
The 28-year-old was long linked with a return to Barca in the summer transfer window, but Celta managed to resist the interest for a player that contributed 13 goals and 13 assists in La Liga last season.
Nolito has started the new campaign in equally impressive form having already scored five goals and three assists in seven league games this term.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the attacker, who is believed to have a buy-out clause in the region of £13m.
However, Barca sporting director Robert Fernandez has revealed that there is still interest on the Spanish side's part.
"The winter market is not easy. Nolito? He is a good player and he is showing it Sunday after Sunday," Fernandez told Radio Catalunya.
Nolito represented Barcelona between 2008 and 2011, but only made two first-team appearances in the league.
