Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez has hinted that the Catalan outfit will open their chequebook in the January transfer window.
The Catalan outfit were banned from signing any new players in the summer due to their transfer ban, but did manage to secure deals for Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal.
Both Turan and Vidal will be eligible from the start of 2016, but Fernandez has said that more new players could arrive.
"If we have to make a move, I think it's clear we can do. We've got time to think. Until January there's time to look at many things and we have an obligation to do so," Mundo Deportivo quotes Fernandez as saying.
"I watch a lot of players, yes. We're thinking and we have a lot of information, but the winter isn't easy and we appreciate that. What matters is what we do, and we know that."
Barcelona have recently been linked with Valencia duo Shkodran Mustafi and Sofiane Feghouli.
