Arsenal to meet £13.3m release clause for Celta Vigo's Nolito in January?

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to meet Nolito's £13.3m release clause in January, but the Celta Vigo star is also attracting interest from Barcelona.

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to meet the £13.3m release clause in Nolito's contract in the hope of signing him from Celta Vigo in the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old is said to have become a target for the Premier League side following his blistering start to the season.

The attacking player, who joined Celta from Benfica in 2013, has scored five goals and made three assists in six La Liga games.

According to Fichajes, Arsenal are determined to get their man in January, but they will have to battle Barcelona for Nolito, who used to play for the Catalan giants, making just two appearances in their first team.

Everton were linked with the Spaniard in the summer.
