Barcelona 'prepared to sell Philippe Coutinho'

Barcelona prepare to listen to offers for Brazil international Philippe Coutinho, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly prepared to listen to offers for Brazil international Philippe Coutinho.

Coutinho joined Barcelona from Liverpool 12 months ago, and the 26-year-old has scored 16 times in 46 appearances for the Spanish champions since arriving at Camp Nou.

The South American is currently struggling to earn a spot in the club's first XI, however, with Ousmane Dembele ahead of him in the pecking order when it comes to featuring alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in attack.

According to Calciomercato, Barcelona are willing to sell Coutinho, but the Catalan giants are likely to want close to the £142m that they paid to bring the attacker to Camp Nou in January 2018.

Coutinho has also contributed 10 assists for Barcelona and was on the scoresheet in their 2-1 defeat to Levante in the Copa del Rey on Thursday night.

However, he is likely to be back on the bench for Sunday's La Liga clash with Eibar.
