Barcelona have revealed that they have secured the signature of Braga forward Francisco Trincao.
While the 20-year-old has made just four starts and seven substitute outings in Portugal's top flight this season, he is widely regarded as one of the top prospects in his homeland.
Despite the deal not being due to go through until July 1, Barcelona and Braga have reached an agreement regarding the future transfer of the 20-year-old.
In a statement, Barcelona said: "FC Barcelona and SC Braga have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Francisco Trincao who will join the club on 1 July 2020.
"The transfer fee is €31m (£26.05m) and the player will sign a contract with the club for the next five seasons, until the end of the 2024-25 campaign with a buy-out clause of €500m (£420.16m)."
Trincao has represented his homeland from Under-17 level up to the Under-21s.
