Pedro backs Lionel Messi to rediscover goal touch

Barcelona winger Pedro insists that Lionel Messi will soon return to goalscoring form.

Barcelona winger Pedro has insisted that Lionel Messi will soon return to goalscoring form.

Messi has not scored in his last four league matches, with suggestions that a thigh problem, which he picked up at the beginning of the season, is still troubling him.

"Leo will get back to scoring again soon," Pedro told reporters at a press conference.

"He's giving assists as usual and working very hard for the team. He's great as always, if you ask me."

Despite his recent troubles, Messi has scored 12 goals in 14 matches this season.
