Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff has claimed that Lionel Messi could have a say in Luis Enrique's future as head coach of the new La Liga champions.
Enrique and Messi are believed to have a strained relationship, despite the team's success on the field in 2015.
It is thought that Enrique could walk away from the Camp Nou this summer and Cruyff has hinted that Messi has a lot of power in terms of off-the-pitch decisions.
"He is a player that is important at the club, not just in a footballing sense. He needs to work with someone that he likes," AS have quoted Cruyff as saying.
"I don't know. I am not saying that Messi does not like Luis Enrique. The question is if Messi has influence in the purchases, the sales, in everything. His quality is measured by the result.
"He cannot accept someone coming [to Barca] if they are not going to perform. He has learned a lot in recent years from decisions taken by the directors."
Barcelona will have the chance to win another treble before the end of the season.
