Saturday's La Liga predictions including Barcelona vs. Atletico Madrid

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's La Liga fixtures, including Barcelona vs. Atletico Madrid.

Alaves vs. Levante (Saturday, 1.00pm)

Saturday's La Liga action gets underway with Levante's trip to Vitoria-Gasteiz for their clash with Alaves at the Mendizorrotza.

Javier Calleja's new-look Alaves side will be desperate for the three points this weekend as they continue to fight for top-flight survival.

We say: Alaves 2-0 Levante

Despite their shock defeat to Eibar last time out, we think Alaves still have enough in the tank to find their way past a lacklustre Levante side this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Barcelona vs. Atletico (Saturday, 3.15pm)

One of the standout fixtures on the La Liga calendar will take place at Camp Nou on Saturday afternoon as Barcelona welcome Atletico Madrid for a huge match in the top flight of Spanish football.

Barca are currently third in the table, level on points with second-placed Real Madrid, while Atletico are two points clear at the summit as the race for the title heads for its final straight.

We say: Barcelona 1-1 Atletico Madrid

The points were shared when the two teams locked horns at Camp Nou last season, and we are finding it difficult to back anything other than a draw in this game. Both managers will be desperate to avoid defeat, which could create a tight and cagey affair, and we just cannot look past a low-scoring draw here.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Cadiz vs. Huesca (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Huesca travel to Andalusia this weekend for their crunch-time La Liga clash with Cadiz at the Estadio Ramon de Carranza.

While Cadiz will certainly be up for the fight on Saturday, it is Pacheta's Huesca side that desperately need the win, with three points potentially hauling them into 16th place.

We say: Cadiz 1-2 Huesca

At this stage of the season, teams with something to fight for are usually capable of turning up the heat when the going gets tough, and we think Huesca have what it takes to find a way past Cadiz on Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Athletic Bilbao vs. Osasuna (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Jagoba Arrasate's 11th-placed Osasuna side will make the short trip to the Basque Country this weekend for their La Liga clash with Athletic Bilbao at San Memes.

In typical mid-table fashion, a win for either of these sides will not alter their respective league positions in any way, but bragging rights are up for grabs and neither Arrasate nor Marcelino will likely entertain the prospect of losing for very long.

We say: Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Osasuna

While this game will influence final league positions, it is in many respects a dead rubber and that is likely to be reflected in how the players go about their business on Saturday. Both teams are also very compact defensive units and a draw is a likely outcome.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
