Atletico Madrid have confirmed that Luis Suarez will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The Uruguay international played a pivotal role in Atletico Madrid's La Liga title win last season, but the Spanish club stated that Suarez will be leaving after two years in Madrid.

"At the end of the game, the Wanda Metropolitano will pay tribute to Luis Suarez and Hector Herrera, who are saying goodbye to the Red & White family today," the club wrote.
The 35-year-old was substituted off in the 65th minute against Sevilla, receiving a rapturous reception as he bid a tearful farewell to Atletico Madrid.
Suarez departs after helping Atletico Madrid win the 2020-21 league title, with his 81 appearances for the club yielding 34 goals.
