Atletico Madrid 'eyeing swoop for Bayern Munich's Juan Bernat'

Bayern Munich left-back Juan Bernat is linked with a move back to his homeland with Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly planning to make an offer for Bayern Munich left-back Juan Bernat.

The Spaniard is said to be unhappy in Germany and the La Liga giants are ready to provide him with a route back to his homeland, according to AS.

Atletico manager Diego Simeone is seeking cover for Filipe Luis and reportedly views the 25-year-old as the perfect candidate.

The Spanish outfit could land Bernat, who rose through the ranks of the Valencia youth system, for a cut price as his contract expires next year.

Bernat broke into the Spain senior squad during his time at Bayern and has earned seven caps since his debut in 2014.
