Adrian Lopez: 'More to Atletico Madrid than Diego Costa'

Adrian Lopez says that there is more to Atletico Madrid than in-form teammate Diego Costa.

Atletico Madrid forward Adrian Lopez has insisted that there is more to the Spanish outfit than in-form Diego Costa.

Costa has hit the headlines this season with 10 goals in eight league games, but Adrian believes that the entire squad must be praised for their performances this season.

"The team is very good. Not only Diego but all of us are at our best and that competitiveness is good. Even the players that don't get in the side so much make us strive for more," he told AS.

"Ever since Cholo (Diego Simeone) arrived, he has handled us very well. We all know we need to play well and that there are a lot of games.

"The squad we have is hardworking and respectful and that is vital to the team doing so well. We are all rowing in the same direction."

Atletico have won all eight of their La Liga fixtures this season.
