Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has named his 20-man squad for Tuesday's Champions League group-stage opener against Olympiacos in Greece.

The only first-team absence is experienced midfielder Cristian Rodriguez, who has struggled with a calf injury in the early part of the season.

A host of players are expected to be handed their Champions League debuts for the club, with Mario Mandzukic and Antoine Griezmann in line to start in attack.

Atletico reached the final of the competition last season, but lost out to capital rivals Real Madrid in Portugal.

Defenders: Juanfran, Gamez, Miranda, Godin, Gimenez, Siqueira, Ansaldi
