Athletic Bilbao winger Markel Susaeta has admitted his delight at being called up to the Spain squad to face Panama on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old has represented his country at youth level, but will make his first-team debut should he be selected to take part.
"Truly, it's an honour to share a workout, let alone a game, so I'm very happy," Susaeta told Marca.
"And what a better time than when [Spain] is world and European champions. It is a dream for any Spanish player to be selected."
Susaeta has scored five goals for Bilbao this season.
