Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has praised Matthew Lowton after completing the signing of the former Sheffield United defender on Friday.
The 23-year-old has joined on a four-year deal, but Lambert has insisted that the club will not "put any pressure" on the youngster.
"Matthew is a really talented young player who brings a lot of things that can really benefit the club. He's hungry to succeed and go further in the game, both of which are attributes that we want at this football club. We won't put any pressure on him, we just want him to go out and enjoy playing," he told reporters.
Lambert took charge of Villa in June.
