Brad Guzan insists that Aston Villa are not too concerned by their current position in the Premier League table.

Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan has claimed that the club are not too concerned by their current position in the Premier League.

With seven matches remaining, Villa are inside the relegation zone in the division, but the American has insisted that "there's a lot of football to be played".

"Regardless of whether we're in the bottom three, you look at the table and see how tight it is," he told Sky Sports News.

"There's a lot of football to be played and lots of points to pick up. You win three matches and people talk about Europe. So you try not to get caught up in looking at the table."

Guzan currently holds the goalkeeping position at the expense of Shay Given.
