Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has accused his former club Norwich City of having an "obsession" with him.
Lambert and the Canaries are currently locked in a legal dispute following his decision to switch to Villa Park during the summer.
Speaking ahead of the League Cup meeting between the two sides at Carrow Road tomorrow evening, Lambert has urged everybody connected with Norwich to concentrate on their new manager.
"I hope they concentrate on Chris because, if not, the obsession keeps on continuing with myself. It's his club, it's his team now," Lambert told reporters. "People will make more of it than I actually will. I'll just get on with it.
"It's another game for me. You would like to think that the sensible ones would maybe think 'you done all right'.
"But I know I might get stick. With the things that are going on people probably don't know exactly what has happened."
Lambert spent three years in charge of the Norfolk-based club.
