Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has said that his side "dominated" against Stoke City, doing everything but score on Saturday afternoon.
Villa could not break down a typically stubborn Stoke but Lambert insisted that his side made it a good game to watch.
"For 0-0 it was a decent spectacle," BBC Sport quotes Lambert as saying. "We played really well and had early dominance. I couldn't ask for any more other than a goal.
"We had a lot of ball and dominated the game possession-wise. The young lads at the back coped well with Stoke's physicality."
The points saw Villa slip to 16th in the Premier League table.
