Monaco lining up late Wilfried Bony bid

Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony is to be the subject of a late bid from Monaco, a report claims.

Monaco are reportedly lining up a late bid for Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony.

The 25-year-old has been linked with an array of clubs throughout the summer, although a move looked to be off the cards after his agent declared that the Ivorian would remain in South Wales.

However, French TV station Canal+ is tonight reporting that mega-rich Ligue 1 outfit Monaco will look to bring Bony to the club to replace the outgoing Radamel Falcao.

Bony, who scored 25 goals for the Swans last season, is said to have a release clause in his contract set in the region of £24m.
