Team News: Ricardo Carvalho returns to captain AS Monaco against Caen

Ricardo Carvalho returns to captain AS Monaco for tonight's Ligue 1 clash against Caen.

Ricardo Carvalho has returned to captain AS Monaco for tonight's Ligue 1 clash against second-placed Caen.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid defender was rested for last weekend's 3-3 draw against Marseille.

AC Milan loanee Stephan El Shaaraway has also returned to the starting lineup, and he will work alongside Bernardo Silva and Guido Carillo in a three-pronged attack.

Meanwhile, Damien Da Silva and Syam Ben Youssef have been named in the back four for Caen as the team are without Alaeddine Yahia.

There were suggestions that Jordan Adeoti could enter the fold in midfield, but Nicolas Suebe has kept his place in the team.
