Half-Time Report: Monaco in pole position to progress after goalless half

Monaco waste several first-half chances against Young Boys in a game which remains goalless at half time.

Monaco are edging closer to a place in the third qualifying round of the Champions League as they remain goalless at half time with Young Boys.

The French side lead 3-1 from the first leg and were not put under too much pressure in the opening 45 minutes.

Monaco had the first chance of the half as Nabil Dirar cut the ball back for on-loan midfielder Mario Pasalic, but his shot was blocked by the keeper.

Joao Moutinho went close with a curling free kick shortly after, before Young Boys registered their first shot on goal through Miralem Sulejmani, which went well wide.

The hosts continued to attack on the front foot as Layvin Kurzawa blasted high from long range, before Moutinho drilled a low effort straight at the keeper.
