Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits that he 'does not know' whether he will splash the cash in the January transfer window.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that he 'does not know' whether he will splash the cash in the January transfer window.

Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are both expected to leave the Gunners at the end of the season, and it had been suggested that the London club would be active in the next transfer market.

Wenger, however, has claimed that he already has "a big squad" at the Emirates, and has suggested that January will be a quiet month.

"No. At the moment I have a big squad. The problem for me is to keep everyone together until the end of the season," Wenger told reporters. "Do we go into the transfer market in January? I don't know yet."

Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac were Arsenal's only two new arrivals during the summer transfer window.
