A report claims that Ousmane Dembele holds the support of one key man at Barcelona - manager Ernesto Valverde, who remains a big fan of the French forward.

Ousmane Dembele has reportedly been given the full backing of manager Ernesto Valverde, amid rumours that the French forward is being pushed out of Camp Nou by his superiors.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have all been tipped to make a move for the 21-year-old, who only arrived at Barca from Borussia Dortmund in a £135m deal last year.

Spanish outlet Marca reports that a number of key figures behind the scenes at the club are happy to offload Dembele at the end of the season, but Valverde is not among those keen to get rid.

The report suggests that the Barca boss holds a lot of affection for the youngster, and he intends to use him more regularly as the season goes on.

Dembele, restricted to just a couple of starts over the past two months, has scored crucial late goals against Rayo Vallecano and Atletico Madrid this month
