Tottenham Hotspur make a bid for Nottingham Forest's promising centre-back Jamaal Lescelles, reports suggest.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly lodged a bid for Nottingham Forest defender Jamaal Lascelles.

The 18-year-old has emerged as one of England's brightest young talents after impressing during a short spell on loan at Stevenage last season.

It is understood that Forest rejected a £5m bid from Arsenal during the January transfer window last year.

Aston Villa and Everton are also said to be scouting the England Under-19s international, who has just one year remaining on his contract at the City Ground.

According to The Mirror, Spurs have now made the first move for the promising centre-back, who has only made one senior appearance for Forest.
