Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez drops a hint about his future by 'liking' a tweet claiming that the Chilean will stay at the Emirates.

Alexis Sanchez has sparked a frenzy on social media by 'liking' a Twitter post claiming that the Arsenal star is staying at the Emirates.

The Chile international is being targeted by Manchester City, who hope to seal the 28-year-old's signature before this evening's transfer deadline.

The latest reports claim that the two-time Premier League champions have tabled a £60m bid for Sanchez, who has one year remaining on his contract at the Emirates.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has maintained throughout the summer that his attacker is not for sale, and the club seemed to hold firm by rejecting a £50m bid on Tuesday.

Sanchez has so far kept quiet about the situation, but eagle-eyed fans spotted that the Chilean has 'liked' a tweet commenting on a video that has gone viral, showing a young Arsenal fan trying to persuade the player to stay with a song.
