Swansea City are confident of keeping defender Ashley Williams after Arsenal refuse to pay their £10m asking price, according to a report.

Swansea City are reportedly confident of keeping Ashley Williams this summer despite interest from Arsenal, according to a report.

The Wales international has been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium after a solid campaign in defence for the Swans.

Arsene Wenger's side were reportedly interested in the 28-year-old but have been put off of any potential transfer by the Swans' asking price of £10m, reports Wales Online.

Williams made 42 appearances for Michael Laudrup's team in all competitions last season.
