Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has revealed his delight at the return of fellow Gunners midfielder Jack Wilshere.
Wilshere, 20, returned to the bench for last Saturday's defeat to Norwich City, but it is understood that he is still some way from making a first-team start.
However, Ramsey has admitted that he cannot wait to play alongside the "gifted" English midfielder when he returns.
"He's been out for a long time and I've been through a similar thing. I'm happy to see him playing again. There's nothing worse than being out for that period of time," he told The Sun.
"We haven't really had a chance to play together. He went out on loan, I got injured, he got injured. I'm looking forward to it. He's a gifted player, one any midfielder would like to play with."
Arsenal face Schalke in the Champions League on Wednesday.
