Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has warned Arsenal and Juventus that they will not sell Gonzalo Higuain on the cheap this summer.
Higuain has been heavily linked with both clubs in the past month, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger reportedly meeting the forward in Paris last week.
Perez has insisted that the Spanish giants are under no pressure to sell the unsettled striker, dismissing speculation that a bid of around £25m will secure the Argentine's services.
He is quoted by The Sun as saying: "With £25.5m it's better that they don't come.
"Let's see if people ask us for £50m for everyone and we sell one of ours for half that."
The 25-year-old still has nearly three years left to run on his contract at the Bernabeu, with Madrid waiting to seek counsel from their new manager before sanctioning any transfer activity.
