Olivier Giroud has reportedly decided to leave Arsenal on loan in the New Year in search of first-team football.
The 31-year-old rejected a move to Everton in the summer but remains on the fringes of the squad, having played just over a thousand minutes this season in all competitions.
Giroud has also been advised by France assistant manager Guy Stephan to quit the Emirates Stadium and search for more regular playing time elsewhere if he harbours hopes of making the 2018 World Cup.
According to The Mirror, the striker is settled in London and, with wife Jennifer expecting their third child, does not want to leave the English capital, thus ruling out a move to Goodison Park.
The report goes on to claim that Crystal Palace and West Ham United have expressed an interest in recruiting Giroud on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Giroud has made 12 Premier League appearances for Arsenal this season but all have come from the bench.
