Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira is reportedly unlikely to sign for Boca Juniors this summer.
The 25-year-old is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid and has made 23 appearances for the Spanish outfit since arriving from the Gunners last October.
Atletico will not be signing the midfielder on a permanent basis, though, meaning that he is due to return to the Emirates Stadium at the end of June.
Torreira seemingly does not have a future at Arsenal under current boss Mikel Arteta, and the Uruguay international has recently revealed that he is keen to join Boca for personal reasons.
However, according to TyC Sports, a move during this summer's transfer window is unlikely as the Argentine outfit would struggle to afford his signature.
The report claims that Arsenal are open to allowing the midfielder to leave on loan but would demand a £1m fee, in addition to his £75,000-a-week wages being paid.
Arteta's side are believed to value the South American at £15m.
