Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly toying with the idea of making an approach for Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah.
Although the 22-year-old has the offer of a new contract on the table at the Emirates Stadium, he is ready to consider all options having spent much of the campaign on the substitutes' bench and his existing deal expiring this summer.
However, more recently, the academy graduate has spent time in the starting lineup, his overall record for the season now reading nine goals from 12 starts and 14 substitute appearances.
According to 90 min, Nketiah's recent progress has led to Liverpool and Chelsea contemplating whether the player could act as a strong backup option in their attacking ranks.
While Nketiah is said to prefer first-team football over a squad role at a bigger club, it is unclear whether the lure of Champions League football would change his mind.
A wide array of other Premier League clubs will be in the market for the frontman, including the likes of West Ham United, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.
