A report claims that Lille ace Nicolas Pepe, already linked with a move to Arsenal and Bayern Munich, is viewed by Chelsea as a possible replacement for Eden Hazard.

Chelsea are in the running to sign Arsenal target Nicolas Pepe from French side Lille, according to a report.

The 23-year-old is the only player in Ligue 1 to have registered double figures for both goals and assists this season, leading to interest from a number of clubs.

Pepe, who has a combined 30 goals and assists in the league this term, is rumoured to be on the radar of both Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

According to Telefoot, Chelsea can be added to the 23-year-old's list of possible suitors as they see him as a possible replacement for Eden Hazard.

Lille are expecting to lose Pepe at the end of the season, with president Gerard Lopez admitting this week that the amount of money being mentioned - around the £70m mark - will be too much to turn down.
