Barbara Berlusconi: 'Mario Balotelli isn't irreplaceable'

AC Milan vice-president Barbara Berlusconi says that striker Mario Balotelli is not "irreplaceable".

Barbara Berlusconi has said that "nobody is irreplaceable" amid speculation that Mario Balotelli is on the verge of joining Arsenal.

The striker's agent is reportedly meeting with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger this week to discuss personal terms ahead of a bid for the Italian international.

The AC Milan vice-president, who is the daughter of club president Silvio Berlusconi, told Sky Sports News: "Balotelli is a great player and a real Italian talent, but nobody is irreplaceable. We'll see what happens."

Balotelli joined the Italian side last January following a three-year spell with Manchester City.
