Barcelona are reportedly not willing to sanction a January exit for Arsenal-linked goalkeeper Neto.
The 31-year-old currently plays second fiddle to Marc-Andre ter Stegen at Camp Nou and has only made nine appearances in all competitions during the 2020-21 campaign.
Neto deputised well for the injured Ter Stegen at the start of the season, but he has since been relegated to the bench in La Liga and last took to the pitch against Ferencvaros in the Champions League on December 2.
The Brazilian shot-stopper has reportedly attracted interest from Arsenal, but Marca claims that Barcelona will not allow him to leave in January.
Despite being open to offloading a number of players this month, the Blaugrana supposedly regard Neto as a top-quality backup and are keen to keep him on the books in case Ter Stegen sustains another injury.
The former Valencia man still has two-and-a-half years left to run on his current deal with the Catalan giants.
