Arsenal to trial young Ghana defender?

Arsenal reportedly invite young Ghanaian left-back Baba Abdul Rahman for a two-week trial.

Arsenal have reportedly invited young Ghanaian left-back Baba Abdul Rahman for a two-week trial.

According to GHANAsoccernet.com, Arsene Wenger has written to the 17-year-old's club Asante Kotoko regarding his availability.

It is believed that the Ghana Under-20s international will fly to London once his UK visa has been approved.

"We have been working on this since last year and the confirmation has come so I think the youngster will be excited," said agent Oliver Arthur.

"This will also calm Kotoko who [have been] constantly receiving enquires about the player."

Rahman has helped his side to the top of the Ghana Premier League table this season.
