Arsenal reject chance to re-sign ex-captain Cesc Fabregas for £30m?

Arsenal reportedly reject the chance to re-sign former captain Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona.

Arsenal have reportedly decided against pursuing a move for their former captain Cesc Fabregas, who is expected to leave Barcelona this summer.

Widespread reports have claimed that the Spain international has been made available by Camp Nou officials.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool have all been linked with a swoop for the midfielder, who is said to be keen on returning to the Premier League.

As part of the Gunners' sale of Fabregas to Barcelona in 2011, an agreement was made claiming that the North London outfit have the right to match any bid made to the Catalans for the midfielder.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have rejected that chance to re-sign Fabregas for £30m because manager Arsene Wenger is looking to strengthen in other areas of the field.

Reports have claimed that Fabregas is disappointed not to be able to return to the Emirates.
