Arsenal are reportedly open to allowing Eddie Nketiah to leave the club this summer.
The 21-year-old has made 25 appearances for the Gunners during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring five times, while he has been involved on 15 occasions in the Premier League.
Nketiah has only featured in one of his side's last 10 league matches, though, and seemingly faces an uphill battle to work his way into Mikel Arteta's first-team plans.
The Englishman's contract at the Emirates Stadium is due to expire in June 2022, and according to the Evening Standard, Arsenal are open to selling him in the upcoming market.
The report claims that a new contract for Folarin Balogun could push Nketiah further down the pecking order, and West Ham United are said to be interested in a deal.
The Hammers are keen to sign at least one new forward this summer and have now seemingly been given a boost in their pursuit of the former Chelsea youngster.
Nketiah, who previously spent time on loan at Leeds United, has scored 12 times in 61 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions.
