Arsenal have reportedly made a move for free agent Stephan Lichtsteiner.
The veteran Swiss international is on the verge of becoming one of head coach Unai Emery's first Gunners signings, according to The Guardian.
Lichtsteiner is seeking a new club after confirming that he will not be signing a new deal with current employers Juventus when his contract expires this summer.
Borussia Dortmund were previously linked with the 34-year-old, but he has since confirmed that he will not be signing for the Bundesliga club.
Lichtsteiner has made more than 200 appearances for Juventus since joining the club from Lazio in 2011, winning seven league titles and four Italian cups.
