Arsenal are reportedly plotting a bid for Derby County starlet Will Hughes.
The 17-year-old midfielder, who made his England Under-21 debut in last night's 2-0 win over Northern Ireland, has featured in all 16 of the Rams' Championship matches this season.
Derby boss Nigel Clough is keen to hold onto Hughes, although the club may be forced to sell the player in January to raise much-needed funds.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool are all said to be interested in Hughes, but according to The Mirror, the Gunners are the most eager to seal his signature following rave reviews by chief scout Steve Rowley.
Hughes scored the second senior goal of his career during Derby's 2-1 defeat at Millwall on Saturday.
