Arsenal hand long-term deal to Joe Willock

Arsenal announce that midfielder Joe Willock has signed a new long-term deal at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock has signed a new long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium.

Earlier this year, Willock's brother Chris opted to leave the Gunners for Benfica, but Joe has decided to continue his career in North London.

The 18-year-old was handed his first-team debut in the EFL Cup clash with Doncaster Rovers in September, and the youngster has since gone on to make five appearances for Arsene Wenger.

Willock has been given three starts in the Europa League, the last of which was made against Red Star Belgrade on Thursday night.

The England Under-19 international is yet to feature in the Premier League.
